Mecpow Warranty Policy

This warranty will not infringe your legal rights as dictated by the laws and provisions of your country or region. The terms specified in this warranty should be executed to the extent permitted by the laws of your country or region. When the warranty period of this policy is not sufficient to cover the scope of the law in your country or region, your local policy regulations shall prevail.

I. Warranty Policies

How to contact Mecpow for a warranty claim?

If the product experiences operational issues within the warranty period, please contact us at support@mecpow.com for after-sales service. Please ensure to include a valid purchase order number or any other proof of purchase in your email.

What is the process for a warranty claim?

Mecpow will first attempt to diagnose and resolve the issue through remote assistance methods, including email and online video chat. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, the following steps will be taken:

  1. You might need to send the product to Mecpow's local repair center for a thorough
  2. If the malfunction occurs within the warranty period, Mecpow will conduct the required repairs and offer after-sales service without any charges.

What’s the definition of "Warranty Period"?

The "warranty period" begins on the date of product receipt, with the invoice date serving as the reference point. Therefore, it's important to keep your invoice as proof of purchase. Please make sure to retain your invoice as evidence of your purchase. In cases where a valid invoice is unavailable, the warranty period will commence from the date when the product leaves the factory.

Not Covered Under Warranty:

Please be aware that Mecpow holds no responsibility for the issues below. If you encounter any of these scenarios, we suggest seeking resolutions from relevant parties.

  1. Products or parts whose original warranty has expired;
  2. Products purchased through non-authorized channels or products resold by by parties other than Mecpow;
  3. Natural wear, tear, and discoloration of the products or parts;
  4. Failures or damage caused by improper usage, maintenance, storage, mishandling, using the product beyond its intended purpose, improper plugging or unplugging of external devices, accidental drops, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, alkalis, water infiltration, infestations, or the intrusion of foreign objects leading to damage or breakage;
  5. Failure or damage caused by unauthorized installation, repair, alteration, addition,modification, disassembly, or removal, or failure to adhere to official manuals or instructions;
  6. Products or parts with tampered, altered, or removed original identification information;
  7. Products or parts lacking a valid receipt or any other documents that can prove the warranty status;
  8. Failure or damage caused by unauthorized, non-standard, or non-publicly available software usage;
  9. Failure or damage caused by the reliability or compatibility issues due to the use of unauthorized third-party components;
  10. Failure or damage caused by virus infection, hacker attacks, or other malicious infringements.
  11. Failure or damage caused by force majeure or accidents;
  12. Failure or damage occurring during transit back for repair;
  13. Any other failures or damage not attributed to inherent product quality;
  14. Products that can operate uninterruptedly or without errors.

II. Replacement Claims

Initial Replacement: 

If you encounter any manufacturing defects, malfunctions, or missing components within 15 days of receiving the purchased product, you can request an initial replacement product. Mecpow will cover the shipping costs for both delivery to and return from your location, provided that Mecpow or an authorized technician confirms that the issue falls within the warranty coverage and cannot be rectified.

Warranty or Paid Replacement: 

In the event of manufacturing defects, malfunctions, or missing parts within the warranty period, you have the choice between warranty service or a paid replacement product. The paid replacement will involve one-way shipping charges and a restocking fee. If the product is damaged within 30 days of receipt, a 15% restocking fee along with return shipping costs will apply. If the product is damaged after 30 days of receipt, a 30% restocking fee and return shipping costs will be applicable. Products exceeding 3 months from receipt are ineligible for replacement.

Not Covered Under Replacement:

  1. The product's warranty coverage has expired;
  2. The product was purchased from non-Mecpow sources;
  3. The returned product lacks original accessories, attachments, packaging, or items damaged due to improper use;
  4. The product is found to be free of defects after thorough testing;
  5. Without valid proof of purchase, order number, or other legal evidence;
  6. Failures or damage caused by improper usage, maintenance, storage, mishandling, using the product beyond its intended purpose, improper plugging or unplugging of external devices, accidental drops, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, alkalis, water infiltration, infestations, or the intrusion of foreign objects leading to damage or breakage;
  7. Failure or damage caused by unauthorized installation, repair, alteration, addition, modification, disassembly, or removal, or failure to adhere to official manuals or instructions;
  8. Failure or damage caused by force majeure or accidents (fire, flood, strong wind, or thunderstorm);
  9. A replacement product functions well upon tests following its receipt from Mecpow.
  10. The product subject to replacement is not returned to Mecpow within seven (7) calendar days after Mecpow confirms the replacement request.

III. Notes

  1. Product packaging, complimentary items, consumables, and accessories are not covered by the warranty. However, if issues arise during the initial use after purchase, the product can be replaced free of charge. Mecpow may charge packaging, accessories, or refurbishment if required.
  2. Mecpow will not be held responsible for any promises made by agents that are not guaranteed by Mecpow.
  3. In the case of discontinued products, relevant Mecpow departments will issue announcements and contact letters to notify agents of the final maintenance date, after which the warranty service will be terminated.
  4. For products with separate agreements on after-sales service terms, the Mecpow contract shall prevail.
  5. If a valid claim is submitted under this Warranty, Mecpow may provide detailed instructions, new or refurbished parts, product repair, replacement with an equivalent product, or a refund of the purchase price.
  6. During the provision of after-sales service, Mecpow will cover the product loss only when it is responsible for transit and repair.
  7. Unless otherwise required by law, Mecpow is not liable for personal injury or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, business interruption, or any other commercial damages or losses arising from or related to the use or inability to use Mecpow’s products. This applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise), even if Mecpow was advised of the possibility of such damages.
  8. This after-sales services policy may vary dueto local laws and regulations, and Mecpow retains the right to interpret and modify this warranty policy at its discretion at any time.
